Who knew there were so many TED talks relevant to my project:
I have sent an email to Eben in hopes of getting in contact with him and using his knowledge of materials to the fullest. This video is so inspiring in realizing that moving towards a smarter future is more than just a possibility, it has transformed into reality with innovations like this mushroom mycelium fiber as well as the next example given by Suzanne Lee.
Lee walks us through her process of literally growing her own clothes through the growth of microbes and thus, creating a completely biodegradable material.
William McDonough is a big supporter of cradle to cradle design, talking about how how important it is to consider an objects total life cycle from conception and through its afterlife.
